In the summer of 2018, Tony Joe re-recorded this classic to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the song and Swamp Records is releasing it as a 12" vinyl single. This exciting new version features Robert Cray with some added guitar and a full band with horn section supporting the Swamp Fox. B-side features an instrumental version of the track. Artwork includes many never before seen images of Tony Joe from 1969.
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of this classic, we have designed a very limited number of packages with many never before seen Tony Joe White photos from the 1960's. This gorgeous collection of materials comes in hand numbered box and will be limited to 50 copies. In addition to the 'Polk Salad Annie' 12" vinyl and t-shirt in size of your choice, this package also includes limited reproductions the following Tony Joe White materials from the vault.
